1st Esade Sustainability Simulation Challenge
Decision-makers needed
Are you in?
The First Esade Sustainability Simulation Challenge is an exceptional training and development opportunity in business management and administration. The Challenge creates an extra-curricular teamwork experience for students from different training programs and promotes the sustainable development goals and their implications for business decision-making.
The Challenge is open to all students on programs for a Degree or Double Degree, MSc Management Programs and Law Masters, and MBA Programs in all formats at the Business and Law Schools, as well as Executive MBAs and masters students at the Executive Education Unit in the 2020-2021 academic year.
Esade and La Fageda came to an agreement to develop, together with CompanyGame, a business simulator which will allow Esade students to make decisions while taking into account the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
The Challenge has two phases:
1. Qualification phase
All teams compete in universes of 5 to 7 teams.
2. Final phase
The winning teams advance to the final.
Awards
All participants receive a diploma as an honorary award for their participation.
A special mention will be added for participants in the winning team.
Esade will award €5,000 to the challenge’s partner organisation, La Fageda Foundation, in the name of the winning team.
The winning team will also present an investment recommendation to La Fageda based on one or several SDGs.
This recommendation will not be binding for the foundation, whose board of trustees may freely dispose of the sum donated.
Registration
The registration period is from 2 to 21 March 2021.
Students can register by following the instructions on the Challenge website and providing the following data:
- Name and surname
