Methodology
A diverse and talented community
At Esade we have a diverse and talented community. That is why we use different methodologies to adapt to the training needs of our students. These methodologies offer practical, experiential, and excellent teaching. Our active learning approach places our students at the center of the teaching-learning process.
What is active learning?
Active learning is an educational approach in which students are the protagonists in their own learning process. Students carry out authentic tasks that invite them to test themselves and constructively apply knowledge.
Unlike traditional teaching, active learning encourages student participation in classroom discussions – as well as student-faculty interaction. The professor becomes a guide and facilitator of learning, contextualizing knowledge to real and current situations and responding to student needs throughout the process.
