Esade-PwC Social Leadership Program
The Esade-PwC Social Leadership Program is a joint initiative between the Esade Institute for Social Innovation and Fundación PwC to generate and transfer knowledge related to NGO and other not-for-profit leadership.
The third sector’s transformation over the last few years makes clear the urgent need for a new generation of leaders capable of facing and overcoming the major challenges we will face in the near future. For this reason, the Esade-PwC Social Leadership Program was created in 2008 to research and offer educational programs dedicated to social leadership and its unique traits compared to leadership in other sectors.
Creation of a unique space for reflection and debate amongst sector leaders
The program addresses the key challenges NGO leaders face, providing them knowledge and specific guidelines to strengthen their organizations. Each edition focuses on a concrete topic, inviting third-sector leaders to tackle these based on the work carried out throughout the program and the ongoing debate within the sector.
The program’s primary activity is the Leadership Forum, a series of get-togethers amongst previously selected program participants who are directly invited (currently, more than 70 NGOs). These sessions are a space to exchange ideas, reflect, learn and create new knowledge, reaching conclusions and identifying the best practices for the proposed topics.
In addition, and as part of the program, a research project is carried out on the edition’s topic, publishing the results in an online article with a public event to present the program results.
