Leaders for social change. Characteristics and competencies of leadership in NGOs

In the first edition of the Esade-PwC Social Leadership Program (in the 2008-2009 academic year) a study was conducted on the characteristics and skills of NGO leaderships. The research concludes that the three keys to leadership in NGOs are: act with clarity; lead by example; and manage teams so that they can operate independently.
