Learning by doing

Your BBA classroom learning experience

Challenge-based learning

You’ll take part in the Integrative Consulting Project and the Innovation and Social Impact Project, working on real projects with companies and in teams. The Microeconomics Challenge will be a competition where you’ll work alongside students from other Esade degrees, expanding your network across programs.
You’ll face subjects that present real challenges from organizations and companies such as the European Investment Bank or Danone.

Management simulations: you are the decision-maker

You’ll experience the decision-making process used most frequently in business management. These decisions have an impact on the various departments and on the company’s bottom line, so you will have to make new decisions and respond to stakeholders.

Business creation: develop your startup

You’ll have the opportunity to develop your entrepreneurial spirit by creating a business plan.

Teamwork

Starting in the second year, you will spend more time on teamwork: you’ll familiarise yourself with the work system used by most organisations, wherein each person has their own responsibilities and everyone works together towards a common goal.

Individual study and research projects

Individual work plays a very important role in the learning process, especially during the first year. Research projects will allow you to delve deeper into topics that interest you, manage multiple sources of information and develop your own discourse..

Developing competencies

Over the course of the program, you’ll work on fundamental skills and competencies that every executive needs today: communication, leadership, negotiation, innovation, social responsibility, and more.

Learning Lab

The Learning Lab is a collaborative space in which the best third year students teach first and second year students and help them with doubts in a personalised way. It is free and totally optional, but highly recommended to achieve your exam objectives.
