Your BBA classroom learning experience
Solving real-life case studies
You will analyse real-life problems faced by companies and argue for possible solutions, in some cases pitching your ideas directly to the company’s directors.
Individual study and research projects
Individual work plays a very important role in the learning process, especially during the first year. Research projects will allow you to delve deeper into topics that interest you, manage multiple sources of information and develop your own discourse..
Learning Lab
The Learning Lab is a collaborative space in which the best third year students teach first and second year students and help them with doubts in a personalised way. It is free and totally optional, but highly recommended to achieve your exam objectives.
Teamwork
Starting in the second year, you will spend more time on teamwork: you’ll familiarise yourself with the work system used by most organisations, wherein each person has their own responsibilities and everyone works together towards a common goal.
Management simulations: you are the decision-maker
You’ll experience the decision-making process used most frequently in business management. These decisions have an impact on the various departments and on the company’s bottom line, so you will have to make new decisions and respond to stakeholders.
Business creation: develop your startup
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your entrepreneurial spirit by creating a business plan.
Developing competencies
Over the course of the program, you’ll work on fundamental skills and competencies that every executive needs today: communication, leadership, negotiation, innovation, social responsibility, and more.
Mandatory multidisciplinary projects
You will participate in the Integrative Consulting Project, where you will work on real projects with companies and in teams. You will face challenge-type assignments, solving real cases in a multidisciplinary environment.
Learning by doing beyond the classroom
Microeconomics Challenge
For the first time, Esade has posed a transversal challenge among students of practically all its Degrees, in teams.
They have had to analyze the future of the automobile industry in Europe using economic tools, they have presented their projects before a jury of experts, made up of real companies and institutions, who have announced the winning group.
Consulting Academy
The Consulting Academy is an event organized by eJuventut, a consulting association managed by Esade Business School students, where participants have to solve a consulting case in teams. It's a challenge where our students can improve their knowledge and skills in consulting and benefit from networking opportunities with leading consulting firms.
Competitions and business games
Solve real-world challenges for top companies
Each year, renowned Spanish and international companies organise competitions and challenges for students in the BBA. These events will give you the opportunity to address real-life business cases, which you and your teammates will have to solve. You will then be asked to present your results to high-profile business executives.
These competitions include the L’Oréal Marketing Award, the e-Strat Challenge, the Repsol Challenge, Trust Danone and Innovation Quest, so you’ll experience the thrill and motivation of working for renowned companies.
Outside experiences
New ways of learning
At Esade, activities held outside the classroom allow you to absorb the course content in different ways. Starting in the second year, experiences such as company tours, outdoor activities, lectures and get-togethers with high-profile businesspeople, activities organised by associations, TEDxESADE, and more become a regular part of the program.
Rambla of Innovation
Living is the new learning
The Rambla of Innovation is a learning ecosystem that combines education with innovation and experimentation. It consists of five spaces on the Sant Cugat campus, where Bachelor of Business Administration students can participate in various initiatives and activities: generating ideas, the creating new products and services, developing and launching your own business projects, and even 3D-printing the product of the future. Living is the new learning!
Capstone Module
Imagine the Future of Business in 2030
In the final weeks of the fourth year, you will take part in a practical experience that will allow you to finish your degree working as a team with your colleagues. During the Capstone Module, you will do a consulting job for a real company: defining the market trends and possible future scenarios for its industry and proposing the best strategy for it to follow to continue to thrive. In recent years, companies such as Banc Sabadell, Vueling and Mango have all participated in this experience.
