A one-of-a-kind opportunity to show off your speaking skills
If you’re in high school and graduating in 2026, 2027 or 2028 and you believe you have the gift of words, if your eloquence is above average and no one can beat you in debates or argumentative battles, we want to meet you. Our Pre-University Debating Competition will be the perfect occasion: through the defense of the topic “Should Spain and Portugal unite into a single country?” you’ll be able to put your oratory, your discourse and your stage presence to the test in the Esade Law School courtroom. But you won’t be alone: you’ll share the experience with other participants and count on the support of current Bachelor in Law students.

How it works
Participants
High-school students graduating in 2026, 2027, 2028 who have previously registered online.
Teams
Teams of 2-4 people. You can sign up with classmates or friends. It's not possible to sign up individually.
There will be one winning team and two types of prizes (depending on the school year):

No! Debating and speaking skills are, of course, fundamental for legal professionals, but the ability to make your point and discuss issues is a requirement for all careers. Wherever your future lies, the ability to communicate effectively will help you on your way.
