Why BITLASI? Discover our degree focused on Business and Humanities for Social Impact
A disruptive multidisciplinary education
60% business, 25% Humanities, 15% Technology: 100% transformation for Social Impact. BITLASI covers three crucial fields of knowledge:
Business with Social Impact: You’ll learn entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, operations, corporate strategy, design thinking, and more as tools for sustainability and social impact. How? Not attending separate subjects but in collaborative, cross-cutting projects.
Humanities: More than ever, leading entails facing ethical dilemmas. By learning self-awareness, philosophy, anthropology, sociology and psychology and more, you’ll gain a critical edge and a good understanding of the world and of your place in it.
Technology: BITLASI will help you develop skills and knowledge of AI, Big Data and more, and learn how to apply their power to solve human problems.
Internships
As well as a compulsory internship and diverse projects with leading companies, you can also help to improve the lives of developing communities through a voluntary solidarity internship.
Impact Talks throughout the program give you a direct connection with leaders as they share their perspectives on real issues in multinational companies, B-corps, and startups.
Flexible learning spaces
We believe that to enhance the individual learning goals of BITLASI, a combination of learning spaces must be provided to students during the 4 years of the Bachelor.
Based on that, the program is built upon various learning environments, including the BITLASI room, Fab Lab, media room, company facilities, and international ecosystems in Europe and Asia. There is no better way to understand an ecosystem than by experiencing it firsthand.
Innovative educational model
3 different learning methods:
“Learn to Learn”: you will acquire cognitive and digital skills to continue to learn autonomously throughout your life.
"Learn to innovate”: you will gain knowledge in all functional areas of business towards sustainability and social impact.
“Lean to Think”: aimed to cultivate your ethical and humanistic skills to think about and understand the world as well as to make good personal and professional decisions.
A truly multicultural class profile
With 35 nationalities per BITLASI cohort (around 60 students), or more than 100 coexisting in our Barcelona campus, BITLASI offers the opportunity of a truly multicultural experience.
Transformative international experiences
During the program, our students will live transformative international experiences in Asia and Europe that will show them how to take advantage of any ecosystem, always with a social impact approach.
