Why study a BBA + Global Governance, Economics & Legal Order double degree?
Double qualification: Business Administration (BBA) + Global Governance
You will earn an official double degree: a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor in Global Governance, Economics & Legal Order that will certify your education in geopolitics, economics and international relations.
Multidisciplinary education
From the first year, the program integrates subjects from both degrees: management + geopolitics + international law + economics.
Specialization Track: Economics or Politics
You will graduate with a business management skill set plus a specialization in either global economics or global politics, which will multiply your career opportunities.
Capstone Strategic Consulting
In the second and third years, you’ll work in teams on real consulting projects set by companies collaborating with the program. Each year, you will apply the knowledge you have worked on in the classroom.

Compulsory internships with international companies and organizations + optional solidarity internship to help poor and at-risk communities in developing countries such as Bolivia, Guatemala or Costa Rica.
Learning by doing
Solve practical cases and participate in international moot courts, model United Nations sessions, business games and simulations based on creating new companies. You’ll also take on challenges set by real companies and international organizations, such as the annual Capstone consultancy we organize with the European Investment Bank.

Global Politics
Understand world politics and its impact on business
It is essential for companies today to consider the geopolitical context when making investment decisions or strategic plans. With the Global Politics track, you’ll study key themes including political science and globalization, international politics, and conflict management, as well as geopolitics and natural resources.
Global Economics
Become an expert in international economics and globalization
In the Global Economics track, you’ll learn to understand how the world economy works. You’ll master the tools and models needed to analyze data and markets and add value in business decision-making.
You’ll also study essential economics subjects, such as mathematics, statistical analysis and macroeconomics, and how to apply them to business strategy.
The double degree with the most international experiences
This double degree takes place in one of the most interesting and dynamic cities in the world— Barcelona—but it is also the Esade program with the most expansive range of international activities. You will be able to experience:
- Up to 2 semesters of exchange in one of our 87 partner universities, located on 5 continents.
- 2 study abroad trips, each lasting 2 weeks, to take a course in Esade partner schools in France and the USA (one in year 2 and one in year 3).
- 1 Study Tour to Brussels and Luxembourg to get to know European institutions from the inside.
- Solidarity internships to help poor and at-risk communities in countries such as Bolivia, Guatemala or Costa Rica.
