Esade, academic partner at the ‘Singularity Summit Spain 2024’ for redefining business innovation in the tech era
Esade continues to bolster its position in business transformation and as a benchmark in innovation by being an academic partner at the ‘Singularity Summit Spain 2024’, the global exponential technologies event to be scheduled this year for November 12-13 in Madrid. The Summit, organized by Singularity Spain, global official partner of Singularity, the leading innovation and learning community founded by Peter Diamandis and Ray Kurzweil in partnership with NASA, Google and other big tech companies in Silicon Valley, will gather renowned international experts in innovation and exponential technologies, plus entrepreneurs and business leaders to address key issues including cybersecurity, AI, robotics and the digitalization of the health industry.
Esade will contribute to this redesign with ‘Building disruption-friendly companies’, a presentation given by Ivan Bofarull, Esade Chief Innovation Officer. During his talk, Bofarull will share a variety of strategies to increase companies’ ability to transform themselves in a landscape characterized by constant technological disruption. According to Bofarull, “disruption is a new normal. Rather than trying to avoid it, companies should embrace it and take advantage of it in order to evolve and be more competitive.”
Key issues: AI, sustainability and the future of employment
The ‘Singularity Summit Spain 2024’ will take place in the auditorium at the Pablo VI Foundation in Madrid and be attended by more than 700 professionals. The two-day event will address such crucial issues as AI, the future of employment, sustainability, longevity and the impact of technology in different areas, such as finance and health. The main aim of this global forum is to inspire the transformation of organizations by harnessing the scope and power of technology to improve society.
Alongside experts from Esade, world leaders such as Peter Diamandis, founder of Singularity, and Shuonan Chen, partner at IOVC and expert in exponential technologies, will lead discussions on how exponential thinking and investing in innovation can solve global challenges, transform sectors and industries, and create new markets. Jim Stolze, founder of Aigency, will explore the impact of generative AI on the creation of smarter, more autonomous systems, whilst Steve Cadigan, former head of human resources at LinkedIn, will focus on the future of employment and talent in a constantly evolving world.
