Practical, hands-on learning
The Double Degree in Business Administration + Global Governance, Economics & Legal Order is based on Esade’s innovative Learning by Doing methodology. Throughout the program, you will be immersed in practical learning experiences in global business, economics and international relations, both inside and outside the classroom, allowing you to apply in real contexts what you’ve learned about management, geopolitics and more.
This will provide a strong added value in the future: you will have the practical skills that can only be acquired by practicing your profession and a career profile that is highly valued by companies and institutions all over the world.

Capstone Module Strategic Consulting
In the second and third years, you will undertake two practical consulting experiences. In them, you’ll apply what you’ve learned each year to solve practical cases provided by real companies or international organizations.
Solving real-life cases
You’ll discuss business problems and real cases provided by companies and international organizations. You will analyze the situation and pitch possible solutions— sometimes to professionals related to the case in question — by applying the knowledge you have learned. You will receive feedback, not only from your professors but also from the professionals.
Study and research
Individual work is a very important part of the learning process, especially in the first year. Research assignments will allow you to delve deeper into topics that interest you. In addition, you will learn to search efficiently for information and manage sources, analyze data, and develop the judgment you need to develop a strategy or make decisions based on key information.
Teamwork
From the second year onwards, teamwork takes center stage: you will become familiar with common work systems in organizations, where each person has his or her responsibilities and works together toward a common goal.
Management simulations: you are the decision-maker
You will experience the typical decision-making process used most frequently in company management or in organizations involved in international relations. These decisions will have an impact on the various departments and stakeholders.

Learning by doing outside the classroom
Solve real business challenges from top companies
Every year, top Spanish and international companies organize competitions and challenges for Esade students. You’ll have the chance to address real business cases, which you and your teammates will have to solve. You will then be asked to present your solutions to high-profile business executives.
You'll experience the thrill and motivation of working for renowned companies. Competitions include the L'Oréal Marketing Award, E-Strat Challenge, Repsol Challenge, Trust Danone and Innovation Quest.
Capstone at the European Investment Bank
You’ll have the opportunity to do a Capstone module at the European Investment Bank. The EIB is the European Union’s lending arm, the world’s biggest multilateral financial institution, and one of the largest providers of climate finance.
Taking the Capstone module will allow you to participate, for five months, in a financial consulting project for a company, often connected to sustainability and renewable energy. You will work on the project throughout the subject and present it to a panel of EIB economists and professionals in Luxemburg.
According to one student:
“Our project consisted of using data mining and machine learning to take the pulse of the financial market. To this end, we had to code a program that would allow us to predict the movements of the S&P 500. Despite our lack of prior programming knowledge, I am proud to say that we managed to write a program that predicted the movements of the S&P 500 with an 80% accuracy rate.”
