That’s why the Double Degree in Business Administration + Global Governance, Economics & Legal Order includes internships and voluntary internships in development projects. Both are unique experiences that will add value to your learning and to your resumé.
Internships
5th-year internship semester
Companies or international organizations — you decide:
- Top international organizations
Imagine working in the United Nations offices in New York or Nairobi, or for NATO in Brussels. These are just some of the internship options that you can take in the fifth year.
If you want, you can focus on organizations related to your specialization in global politics or economics: in embassies or general consulates in Spain or abroad, in multinational companies, law offices, or research and analysis centers, in organizations such as the European Court of Auditors, the World Bank, UNESCO, or chambers of commerce. - Leading companies in Spain or abroad
You’ll have access to Spanish and international companies in every sector (financial services, auditing, consulting and consumer goods are the most popular among our students). Esade students have done their internships in firms including Amazon, Desigual, Bain Consulting, Boston Consulting Group, Goldman Sachs, and HSBC.
Keypoints
Duration: up to 6 months
One semester, full-time. Equivalent to 20 undergraduate credits.
Tutor-guided
You’ll establish the goals you want to achieve and the skills or competencies you wish to strengthen during your internship.
Preparation
You’ll attend orientation seminars to help you choose the right sector and company, draw up your CV, prepare for interviews, etc.
Job placement
For many of our students, internships are a gateway to employment. Sixty percent of students receive a job offer before completing the internship.

Solidarity internships (SUD)
3 months in summer — Year 3
Helping those who most need it
During the summer of the third year, you can put your knowledge into practice in real development projects. You can travel to countries such as Bolivia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, or Costa Rica with the University Service for Development (SUD).
The program combines practical learning experiences and social commitment. It has the added benefit that your collaboration truly helps to improve lives in poor and at-risk communities.
What kind of projects are they?
These include projects such as defending indigenous women against male violence in Guatemala, and offering advice and collecting evidence for children’s courts in Guatemala.
Every project is a unique personal and professional experience that is highly recommended for your growth and development at all levels.
