FIRST-YEAR SUBJECTS
The first step towards internationalisation
Second year
During the second year, you’ll delve even further into both fields. 30% of your law and management subjects will now be taught in English. In addition, you’ll have the chance to take part in an international study abroad at one of our partner universities.
SECOND-YEAR SUBJECTS

Third year
The third year of the programme intensifies the focus on the legal world: You’ll also be ready to choose the area of law that interests you the most and in which you want to specialise. In addition, you’ll also take subjects which correspond to the business administration component. 50% of your subjects will be taught in English, and you’ll begin studying legal English and a second language (French, German or Mandarin). In summer, you’ll also be able to take part in solidarity-based international scholarships in Latin America, Africa or Asia through Esade’s University Development Service (SUD). This will also be the last year you spend on the Barcelona-Pedralbes campus.
This also tends to be the year in which students become more involved in student associations and in organising activities related to their areas of interest: Organising events provides you experience for the future and is generally very well-regarded by companies and organisations.
Specialisation in management
Fourth year
The fourth-year curriculum intensifies its focus on business administration, and you’ll begin your specialisation in the management field though you’ll also complete the final subjects in the law component. 70% of your subjects will now be taught in English, and you’ll begin studying business English. In january, you can take part in a new international experience and enrol in the study abroad in the United States.
This year, you’ll also move to the Sant Cugat campus, a multicultural space in which you’ll live and study side by side students and faculty from more than 100 different countries. You’ll also have to choose the university in which you want to do your semester-long exchange programme during the fifth year. You can choose from over 70 universities!
