Enrique Lores, President of Imaging, Printing and Solutions at HP, to receive ESADE Award
ESADE Alumni announced this week that the 2017 ESADE Award will be presented to Enrique Lores, President of Imaging, Printing and Solutions at HP. Mr. Lores will collect the award on 25th May at the ESADE Alumni Annual Conference, which will be held in Barcelona at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya.
This year’s ESADE Award will recognise Mr. Lores for his key role in leading one of the largest and most complex corporate separation processes in history: the splitting of the Hewlett-Packard Company into two new Fortune 100 companies: HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. It will also recognise his leadership, since 2015, of the company’s Imaging, Printing and Solutions division. HP first pursued this line of business in the 1970s and has been a market leader for the last 30 years.
At the ESADE Alumni Annual Conference on 25th May, Mr. Lores will share his experience as an ESADE graduate (MBA ‘93) with the more than 1,500 alumni in attendance in Barcelona.
Award for an outstanding career
In his 26 years at HP, Mr. Lores has held leadership positions is every part of the organisation. Before taking the helm of HP’s Imaging, Printing and Solutions division, Mr. Lores served as Separation Leader, overseeing one of the most complex corporate separation processes in history. Before that, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Business Personal Systems. In this role, he oversaw the organisation and was responsible for defining sales, marketing and product-development strategies as well as business execution worldwide. He also served as Vice President and General Manager of Large-Format Printing at HP, a role in which he oversaw and directed various mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of Scitex, a manufacturer of large-format industrial printers.
