Learning Innovation, Technologies & Spaces
At Learning Innovation, Technologies & Spaces we work to improve the educational experience of our students. We use ICT and technological innovation to design new learning spaces in both online and on-campus formats and develop new tools that enhance the learning experience.
What we do
We aim to transform and enhance the educational experience at Esade – examples of projects or areas of action include:
Digital content repository for faculty
We work on a content base where faculty can save, search, consult, and request educational materials developed at Esade.
Innovation pilot tests
We support educational innovation by conducting pilot tests. We use various tools that contribute to improving the experience of our faculty and students.
Platforms that enhance the program experience
We optimize the user experience of digital platforms in hybrid programs.
Classrooms and learning spaces
We implement the hybridization of classrooms and improve their technological equipment to adapt them to the latest trends in face-to-face teaching and so offer our students powerful learning environments.
Evaluation and feedback
We use new tools to improve the experience and efficiency of evaluation and feedback between faculty and students.
How we do it
The Learning Innovation, Technologies & Spaces area serves all teaching activity at Esade. Our aim is to enhance the quality of learning and the educational experience of our students. We do this through:
- Consolidation of the technologies that support teaching: both hardware and software.
- Development of technological skills so that faculty can put these advances and innovations into practice in their classrooms.
- Research and implementation of innovative teaching projects to support implementation at Esade.
Technological improvement projects for teaching spaces
In the Learning Innovation, Technologies & Spaces area, we also work to equip Esade's teaching spaces with the tools and programs needed for a flexible and innovative educational offer. Therefore, we aim to ensure that all Esade classrooms have the equipment necessary for successful face-to-face and/or hybrid sessions.
Projects to monitor startups and new technological trends
In Learning Innovation, Technologies & Spaces we work together with Esade management, the chief innovation officer, the IT department, and faculty to explore new startups, technologies, and innovations that could enhance the educational experience. We explore entrepreneurial activity in trends such as artificial intelligence, learning analytics, or virtual and augmented reality, and propose projects to consolidate those technologies that can be transferred to the classroom.
