To have a career in law and international relations you need to know languages. For this reason, the Esade Double Degree in Law + Global Governance, Economics & Legal Order prepares you to be able to work in up to three languages: English with a mastery of legal English, French, German, Arabic or Mandarin. Master languages, specialise in a specific region of the world and expand the range of career options you have around the world.
Bilingual program: Spanish – English
You’ll enrol in subjects in Spanish and others taught entirely in English. In addition, English is required throughout the program, and we will prepare you to sit the TOEFL exam.
French, German, Arabic or Mandarin
You will study with native professors in small, highly participatory classes. Your mastery of these languages will not only include legal vocabulary but also key competencies such as public speaking and drafting legal documents.
Legal English
You’ll complete specific subjects in Legal English throughout the program, helping you to master the vocabulary and expressions commonly used in the legal field in English. The Legal English subject focuses on topics and cases you will work on in other program subjects.

- An introduction to oral communication techniques and rhetoric.
