He co founded Strands, Inc., a globally renowned Fintech company serving top banks, in 2004 and remains a board member. He holds over 20 tech patents and his research focuses on how AI can be applied to improve people’s lives.

Jan Brinckmann

He is an active business angel and has co-founded, advised and supported multiple startups and high-growth firms in the US, Germany, and Spain. Before joining Esade, Prof. Brinckmann taught at Loyola University, Chicago; Cornell University and Berlin Technical University. His prizewinning academic work has been published in five books and many prestigious journals.
