Learning Community on Impact Measurement and Management
Learning Community on Impact Measurement and Management
The Learning Community represents a diverse group of organizations in Bizkaia, Spain, brought together by common concerns and interests in impact measurement and management (IMM). Working collaboratively to achieve individual and collective goals, these entities have set out to improve impact assessment to make decisions that better meet the needs of their communities.
In May 2023, the Esade Center for Social Impact and BBK launched the inaugural edition of the Learning Community. The initiative commenced with the involvement of 28 heterogeneous organizations, varying in terms of their public or private nature, areas of operation, size, and maturity levels related to MGI.
Throughout this period, the Community evolved into a secure space for reflective team learning, enabling organizations to share experiences, both successes and setbacks, address inquiries, and forge meaningful connections while acquiring fresh insights into impact measurement and management.
Through both in-person and virtual sessions, with a primary focus on content developed by the Esade Center for Social Impact, members learn from authentic experiences from participating organizations and others external to the Community of Learning.
Our ambition is that this collaborative approach will lead to a significant improvement in the impact chain. It is expected that both participating individuals and entities and their stakeholders will experience an increase in their impact thanks to the optimization of their IMM and the exchange of knowledge in the Learning Community.
