European Social Enterprise Monitor
Spanish Report
The European Social Enterprise Monitor is an annual study on social entrepreneurship in Europe, of which the Esade Center for Social Impact (ECSI) is the Spanish academic partner. As such, gathers, analyzes, and publishes data on social entrepreneurship in Spain.
Its main objective is to close the gap between social enterprises and EU decision-makers. It collects primary data to analyze the social enterprise ecosystem, examine the potential and challenges, and provide this knowledge to government leaders, companies, researchers, and society in general so that evidence-based policies can be implemented. These policies and actions should lead to an increase in financial and non-financial support for social enterprises to promote social innovation and sustainable and equitable development in Spain and Europe.
This report is part of the pan-European study European Social Enterprise Monitor, led by the Euclid Network, together with the Social Enterprise Network Germany (SEND), and is supported by the European Commission, ImpactCity, SAP, and the Bertelsmann Stiftung.
