Internships
Internships are a must for our students’ development. They provide unique opportunities to familiarize themselves with industries and jobs, and discover possible career paths.
They also give companies a unique opportunity to discover new talent, and assess their skills and capabilities in every-day business settings.
How to arrange an internship
- The student contacts your company about starting an internship.
- The student sends you instructions by email about how to proceed using the Esade career website on Job Teaser.
- Once all the information has been submitted, our Internship Agreements Department will check the details and forward a draft internship agreement to the parties involved.
- The company and student confirm they approve the draft.
- Our Internship Agreements Department requests the company and the student to add their digital signature to the agreement using Signaturit. A copy of the agreement is then forwarded to all the parties involved (company, student, Esade).
- At least two weeks before the end of the internship, the student must ask the company for the internship report and then submit it to their tutor.
Eligibility
- In Spain, students of any nationality can freely carry out an internship within the framework of the official internship agreement, which also has certain tax advantages for the company and for the student.
- Outside Spain, students can carry out internships in their respective countries of residence and/or nationality. Depending on the legislation of each country and international agreements, visas may also be required.
- Internships are remunerated, in most instances. Monthly remuneration is negotiated between the student and the company. We recommend remuneration similar to that of an employee with the same level of responsibility
- The exact duration of internships may vary from one student to another and will depend on their academic obligations and the subjects they take.
- At the request of the interested party and completely free of charge, Esade may enter into internships (in Spain or abroad) between your company, the selected student and Esade.
- The procedure takes approximately seven working days from the day all the documents are received.
