Merco (Corporate Reputation Business Monitor) acknowledges Esade as the educational establishment with the best reputation in Spain in their 26.ª edición de su ranking ‘Merco Empresas’, which Esade also ranks #64 amongst the top 100 companies with the best reputation in Spain in 2026.

“Reputation is a notoriously demanding landscape for any entity,” said María Díaz, Director of Communications, Brand, and Institutional Relations at Esade, “which is why this acknowledgement of Esade by a group of executives, specialized professionals, opinion leaders and journalists, to name but a few, as the educational establishment with the best reputation in Spain is so very important for Esade. It’s a reflection of trust in a brand that regards education as a cornerstone of significant impact, and trust in an educational model designed to equip executives to understand today’s complex world through the lens of humanism, sound judgment and responsibility.”

This recognition consolidates Esade’s position as a global benchmark in education, research and transformative impact, underpinned by its close links to academia, the business world and society. It also lends support to an educational project that combines humanist and Jesuit traditions with academic rigor, and confirms Esade’s leadership in the development of persons committed to social impact.

Reputational ranking

Merco is one of the most prestigious corporate monitors in Spain and Latin America. Factors considered when compiling this ranking include the reputational advancements and merits of each company and entity; assessments by members of management committees; and the expert opinions of different groups such as journalists, financial analysts, trades unions and university professors. The outcomes of other Merco monitors, including those covering Digital & AI, Society and Talent, were also taken into account.
