Esade and “la Caixa” Foundation train more than 1,700 executives in third sector

In a world in which non-governmental and non-profit organizations (NGOs and NPOs) are crucial for tackling social issues, Esade Institute for Social Innovation and “la Caixa” Foundation are celebrating 25 years of third-sector management training programs. During this quarter of a century, the NGO-NPO Management Program and the Leadership and Social Innovation Program have trained 1,732 managers in 852 entities, driving significant change in management and leadership in this sector.

Ignasi Carreras, director of NGO-NPO management training programs at Esade, highlighted the importance of this academic initiative. “We’re at a turning point in the professionalization of these entities: innovation, leadership and a result-oriented mindset are essential. We firmly believe in the formative and transformative power of the people who collaborate in these institutions, and we want to boost their ability to make a bigger impact.”
