The invisible reality of homeless women
The apparent paradox between having a roof and lacking a complete home reveals, with heartbreaking starkness, the complexity of female homelessness, a reality often relegated to ostracism in research and social consciousness. Despite the predominant association of homelessness being rooted in the collective imagination as a male phenomenon or one linked to men, since they are visible on the streets, it is imperative to challenge this stigma and recognize that women are not immune to this harsh reality.
