Technology and work
The first research line focuses on analysing the impact of new information and communication technologies, robotics, and artificial intelligence on the labour market. The aim is to determine the disruptive impact of technological change, identify the challenges it poses from a regulatory perspective, and formulate proposals for new laws to guarantee quality employment and respect for workers’ fundamental rights.
Job quality, flexibility, and productive decentralisation
The IEL’s second research line is the study of labour law and the labour market to determine job quality, especially as a result of increased labour flexibility, related to time management and productive decentralisation.

This third research line aims to analyse issues related to occupational hazard prevention, occupational health at companies, and corporate responsibility resulting from non-compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
