The Esade Entrepreneurship Institute (EEI) is celebrating 30 years of connecting Esade’s academic excellence to the business world and our community’s entrepreneurial spirit.

We launched our first startup program, the Esade Business Program, in 1992. Much has been accomplished since then – from the launch of the From Science to Business program in 2009 (within the framework of KIC InnoEnergy), our MSc in Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MIE) in 2011, and the eGarage (2012) and eWorks (2015) which served to complete the Rambla of Innovation in 2018.

These and other achievements have led to the creation of a startup ecosystem which is now an international reference and a part of the very essence of Esade.

We are celebrating these achievements with a kick-off event on Friday, 18 November, at 12 pm at the Rambla of Innovation. This event sets the stage for a series of other scheduled activities throughout the academic year.

The program of the event will be:

• Welcome by George Chondrakis and Josep Franch
• How entrepreneurship has evolved at Esade, with Marcel Planellas and Eugenia Bieto
• The keys to EEI’s and entrepreneurship’s future, with Jan Brinckmann, María José Parada and Jan Hohberger
• Closing by Xavier Mendoza
