The Esade Full-Time MBA exchange program offers the chance to immerse yourself in a new culture and language, enhance your CV, build global contacts, access international job markets, and enjoy a unique personal experience at top business schools.
How does it work?
In our global economy there is a growing need for managers with the skills, understanding, and outlook to lead international teams. We partner with other leading business schools to give you the chance to pursue an international exchange.
You can spend up to four months overseas, experiencing business in a new culture, and building a world-class network. To be eligible for an MBA Exchange Program, you must opt for the 15 or 18-month track, and fulfil the academic requirements stated in the internal rules and regulations.
Information about places is communicated during the first months of the program.
If you currently studying an MBA and want to join Esade for your exchange, please contact your home university. Esade does not accept “free movers” for this program.
Company Treks offer students the opportunity to visit companies and engage with executives from different business functions, as well as HR representatives. During these visits, participants gain insights into workplace culture, explore potential career paths, and build professional networks, including through alumni gatherings in the region.
Study Tours provide additional exposure to local market opportunities and insights into how businesses operate across different regions. Destinations like Berlin, Dubai, and Miami are just a few examples. These week-long trips blend company visits arranged by the Esade careers team with academic sessions, cultural experiences, and networking events hosted by local alumni chapters.
MBA student clubs organize treks to world-leading businesses in Barcelona, Spain, and overseas. Clubs are established around business functions (operations, finance, etc.), and/or industries (health care, sports, etc.), and cities chosen are hubs for each specific area of interest. These MBA trips allow you to explore professional opportunities, meet local Esade alumni, and grow your network.
Languages
In the increasingly global business market, speaking multiple languages is a key skill. One of the advantages of living and studying in Barcelona is that you will have the chance to consolidate your knowledge of Spanish, one of the most important and widely spoken languages in the world. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn other languages, such as French and German.
