Our Executive MBA in an Online (blended) learning format
Designed for maximum flexibility, this format blends live online classes on Friday or Saturday afternoons (European time) - led but Esade professors - with four residential modules on our Barcelona and Madrid campuses, a total of 400 contact hours. There are also three International Immersion Weeks (two of them optional).

On Esade's campuses in Barcelona and Madrid, where you'll take the face-to-face courses.
3 International Immersion Experiences
Esade’s Executive MBA includes three international immersion weeks—one mandatory and two optional—across leading business ecosystems in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Self-directed work
You'll do work in preparation for the live on-line courses to make sure you get the most from your classes. Some of your self-directed learning will be individual and some will be done as part of a team. You will always be supported to ensure you have the best-possible learning experience.

Flexible and Diverse
The new Executive MBA On-line (Blended) program gives you the option of taking live online courses on either Friday or Saturday afternoons:
- Friday, from 4 pm to 7.30 pm (CET/CEST)
- Saturday, from 2 pm to 5.30 pm (CET/CEST)
You can choose when to connect to the live online sessions that best match your time zone, for a total of 3 hours of classes each week.

Executive MBA Online (Blended)

The perfect blend: online and on-campus learning
Classes are generally structured as follows:
- START: LIVE ONLINE SESSIONS to start off classes, requiring you to complete assignments on your own before each session
- MID: IN-PERSON CLASSES ON CAMPUS as part of the residential week modules
- END: LIVE ONLINE SESSIONS to complete the learning process by maximizing your assimilation of knowledge and skills.
Some courses are designed to be 100% online, with self-directed work, and some will be held 100% face-to-face during the week-long residential modules. Please see the schedule for more details.
Your Executive MBA, your way
The EMBA Online (Blended) program puts you in control of your learning.
You can choose the duration of the program, extending it from 18 to 24 months depending on the electives you select.
And you can choose when to study midweek, ensuring minimum disruption to your existing professional and personal commitments.
A Global Experience
The EMBA Online (Blended) Program includes the same global learning opportunities as our other Executive MBA formats.
The Executive MBA offers four International Immersion Experiences, of which participants may choose three. One of these weeks is mandatory, while the others are optional. The destinations available include Europe, the Middle East, the United States, and Asia.
You will also have the opportunity to choose to take some electives abroad in one of our partner business schools.
Esade - Campus Barcelona
The Esade Executive MBA takes place on the Executive campus in Barcelona. This is located in the Pedralbes neighborhood, just 15 minutes by car or 30 minutes by bike from the city center.
All Executive Education programs and the Full Time MBA are also held on this campus, allowing Executive MBA participants to share a very international and diverse environment.

In 2009, Esade inaugurated the Barcelona – Sant Cugat campus. In addition to superb university facilities, the campus also features the Rambla of Innovation, a space of more than 17,520 m² where academia and business meet.

Esade - Campus Madrid
The next edition of the Executive MBA in Madrid will begin in February at the Esade campus in Madrid.
Opened in January 2025, the Esade Madrid campus is located in the Mirasierra district. Spanning over four floors and more than 4,800 m², its cutting-edge technology and innovative architectural and space design enhance the educational experience and promote disruptive learning.
