International Immersion Week (3 ECTS)

“Immersion in Global Innovation Ecosystems”

The program includes an exclusive international study trip to one of the world’s most advanced innovation ecosystems, selected from the U.S. or Asia—with preferred destinations such as Silicon Valley or Japan.

Participants will explore first‑hand how these ecosystems operate: 

• Silicon Valley, key drivers of American innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Japan, a global benchmark and the cradle of Asian management practices.

Through company visits, expert sessions, and cultural immersion, participants will deepen their global business perspective and gain an understanding of how innovation, leadership, and management models differ across regions. 

This international experience brings together participants from across Esade’s Executive Master programs, fostering cross‑industry learning and significantly enhancing networking and peer exchange at a global level.

 

Electives (6 ECTS)

Customize Your Master’s to Fit Your Goals

Participants will have access to a wide catalogue of electives and may choose electives from their own program as well as electives from other Master programs. 

Those who complete three electives within the same area will earn a ‘minor’ or Executive Certificate in one of the following specializations:

• AI for Business
• Strategic Management
• Business Leadership
• Technology Management

 

Master Thesis/ Business Project (3 ECTS)

As part of the program, you will develop an individual executive project designed to apply your learning to real-world challenges. You can choose from four modalities: 

• Entrepreneurial Project: Create a comprehensive business plan for a new venture.
• Consulting or Business Transformation Project: Drive strategic change within an organization.
• Research Project: Explore and analyze a topic of strategic relevance.
• Self-Leadership Project: Focus on personal growth and leadership development.

 

Official Program Information

The Esade Executive Master is a 60‑ECTS program with a duration of 15 months. Participants who successfully complete the program will be awarded Ramon Llull University’s own degree: Executive Master of Lifelong Learning in Digital Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

The Executive Certificate is a 36‑ECTS program. Participants who successfully complete the program will be awarded Ramon Llull University’s own degree: University Specialization Diploma in Digital Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

Partner and general director of RocaSalvatella, a strategic consulting firm specialized in the digital transformation of businesses. He has also participated in the design and implementation of digital transformation and e-Commerce processes for Spanish and international companies, as an expert in business development and digital transformation. In addition, he is a professor of Digital Business within this Executive Master and, since 1999, he has collaborated as an adjunct professor in the Marketing Management department.

A minimum of 5* years of full-time professional experience is required, although candidates with more extensive experience will be viewed favorably.

*In exceptional cases, profiles with slightly less experience will also be considered

Admission Process

The process begins once you complete the online application form and pay the application fee, which amounts to €150.

In addition to the online application form, you must email the following documents to your designated Admissions contact:

• A photocopy of your national ID card or passport
• Official university degree (if the degree was issued outside Spain, it must be certified and translated into Spanish or English)

English Level

Applicants must demonstrate an advanced level of English. This can be done by  submitting an official English certificate. If no certificate is provided, part of the personal interview will be conducted in English to assess the candidate’s proficiency.

In-depth Interview

The personal interview is an in-depth conversation designed to gain a comprehensive understanding of:

• the real impact of your professional decisions,
• your key achievements and leadership challenges,
• your analytical skills and decision-making ability,
• and your fit with the academic demands of the program and the profile of the cohort.

The final admission decision is made by the Admissions Committee, composed of faculty members and the Admissions Team, who assess each application holistically.

Recommendation Letter

As part of the admissions process, applicants are required to submit one recommendation letter. It is recommended that the letter be written by a professional referee (current or former) who can provide an informed assessment of the applicant’s profile and capabilities.
