By the end of this program, you will:

- Learn how the financial crisis created a lack of trust and how algorithms can fix it.
- Be able to identify some of the most important trends in fintech, such as wealth tech, robot advising, crowdfunding, artificial intelligence, neural networking, and social media.
- Learn to construct a blockchain, understanding what problems it solves and why it is a great innovation in a world dominated by trust.
- Know when to use an algorithm and when to have a human solve finance issues.
- Learn what DeFi is, what its infrastructure consists of, how it works, and where it has been applied so far.
- Be familiar with the different risks these new technologies pose.
- Learn how information from different social media can be used in finance.
- Understand the role of sustainability and ESG in finance, from both a corporate and a market perspective.
Academic Structure
- Day 1: Macroeconomic overview of finance with a focus on inflation and interest rates
- Day 2: Introduction to fintech + Practitioner
Use of social media for company valuations - Day 3: How big data and AI are impacting finance
Fintech, blockchain, and digital finance - Day 4: Financial management of innovative companies
Sustainable finance - Day 5: Sustainable finance
Most sessions will be 3 to 4 hours long with possible guest speakers, roundtables, or other interactive activities.
The program will cover all the latest trends in finance, beginning with the macroeconomic situation, moving on to the use of technology in finance, and finishing with the role of ESG in finance.
Given the one-week time constraint and the wide variety and technical nature of the topics covered, the program will provide an overview of the main concepts of each topic but will not be able to explore each one in depth.

The program uses a dynamic and interactive approach, blending theoretical frameworks with practical applications, real-world case studies, and insights from seasoned industry practitioners.
