In this session, you will have the opportunity to converse with the academic director of the program, who will share their experience and knowledge on the unique characteristics of family businesses and the specific challenges faced by the board of directors in this context. We will analyze how to address these realities to ensure the effective functioning of both the board of directors and the family business.
Additionally, we will discuss the relevant knowledge and competencies for presidents, board members, and executives, with the aim of promoting a more effective contribution to the board of directors.
The speaker will be Alberto Gimeno, founder of Family Business Knowledge, an international consulting firm specializing in the professionalization and development of governance structures in family businesses. He is also the Chairman of BiteRight and Director of the Family Business Board Program.
