Tax Moot Court Activity
Have you heard about celebrities or multinationals being investigated for tax issues? Football players, singers, youtubers, Apple, Amazon, Google…
In this activity the students will be looking at a real-life case and will become the tax advisors of the celebrity or multinational, the tax authorities and the Judges of the case. Guided by their Coach, the students will have two days to understand their position and defend it in a pleading session in “Court” and the Judges will have to decide if the celebrity or multinational is guilty or not.
This exciting activity will allow the students to understand firsthand some basics of taxation and will promote their oral skills, teamwork and resourcefulness to solve the case. They will definitely enjoy the experience.
Power, Politics, and Democracy
"Power, Politics, and Democracy" is an insightful summer school course that offers a deep dive into the fundamental aspects of political science. This course navigates through the complex terrain of political structures, examining the nature of power and authority and how they shape and are shaped by various forms of governance. Ideal for those with a keen interest in politics and democracy, this course provides a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics at play in modern governance and political theory.
Economics
To understand the social and political changes as main player in international politics a background in Economics is necessary. This subject introduces to the main macroeconomics indicators and how to measure the most common macroeconomic imbalances an economy can face.
Investment in Bitcoin and Criptocurrencies
In 2011, Marc Andreessen wrote in the Wall Steet Journal: "Software is eating the world", meaning that every individual with such a phone would have access to the full power of internet. Now, in 2021, Elon Musk said that "Bitcoin is eating the world". In this course the students will learn how Bitcoin will transform all the economy and tradicional business models over three very practical sessions and exciting activities. They will understand Bitcoin and criptocurrencies in real life: how the marketcap works, where they can trade cryptocurrencies and the best projects to invest for their future. Are you ready to start eating the world?
Law Case Simulation
Do you want to participate in a human rights case? This is the course for you. You will be part of a court where you can be a judge, prosecutor or criminal defender. Each group/part will study and prepare a case given by the professor and then, everyone will be part of a moot court.
Negotiation Skills
Whether you are going into law or business, conflict management and negotiation are key skills that are required by today’s professionals. Feeling comfortable with conflict is important for all of us, because we need these skills in our daily lives: this might be negotiating with our boss about salaries, a supplier about prices, colleagues about responsibilities or when trying to get an agreement between two lawyers.
Public Speaking
This course will offer you the possibility of incorporating techniques to impact and persuade the audience, through a coherent and concise content and structure. Achieve an impactful presentation. Understand how neurolinguistics works when presenting to any audience. Understand and compare best practices with worst-case scenarios, and why.

UNIT 1 - Choose 1: Model United Nations or Legal Deliberative Skills
Model United Nations (MUN)
In this subject, students acquire oral and written skills by taking part in a role-playing game based on international politics and diplomacy. Participants acquire basic knowledge of how the United Nations system works and an overview of the current international landscape. Class sessions are participatory and dynamic.
Justice: order, good and evil
What is the right thing to do? What is Good? What is Evil? And, moreover, how do we build a society upon those answers? In this course, we will debate the different conceptions of Justice, a journey that will necessarily take us to explore our history and ourselves.
