Looking to change direction? Want to start your own business and get to work as soon as possible? Whatever your plan, our MBA is designed to meet your requirements. Irrespective of the format you select, all participants start the Full Time MBA at the same time, graduate together, and need to complete the same number of credits (90 ECTS).
12 Months - Core + Electives
In some individual cases where strict requirements are met, a 12-month MBA "fast-track" program (Core Courses + Electives) is possible. Your final course length decision won't be required until as late as the end of Term 3, in around April/May.
15 months - Core + Electives + Internship or Exchange
Others have professional commitments that require a more streamlined 15-month program, which offers the core MBA courses, electives, and your choice between an internship and exchange.
Most students choose everything that an Esade MBA has to offer over 18 months. Here you’ll pursue the core curriculum and electives. But you’ll also have a chance to do an internship and broaden your global vision with an exchange.
Your MBA Journey
Curriculum Overview
Program Objectives
The Esade MBA program challenges you to be a “creactivist” — a creative activist, an entrepreneurial leader, a mold-breaker, a trailblazer. In short, a leader of positive and lasting change. Our curriculum allows you to:
1. Experience, understand and manage the diversity inherent in global activities and interactions.
2. Understand the core tenets of different management disciplines — and be able to integrate and apply both theoretical and practical knowledge of these fields.
3. Become a responsible leader who is aware of the implicit values and impact of all decisions — someone committed to building a fairer society by working collaboratively and with integrity while fostering diversity and inclusion, in order to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
4. Develop and apply an open, integrative and partnership-based leadership style that allows you to be effective in complex situations and to manage across functional and organizational boundaries.
5. Develop and demonstrate the capability to identify, analyze, and synthesize complex situations to develop the readiness to challenge the status quo.
6. Develop the ability to create new and novel ideas or perspectives, which lead to new and novel products, services, and business models — as well as social and environmental change.
7. Develop and apply communication techniques and approaches to align, mobilize, engage, and persuade different audiences and stakeholder groups.
