Biografia
Laura Guillén es va incorporar a ESADE com Associate Professor el setembre de 2019.
És Lic&MBA per ESADE.
Després de finalitzar els estudis universitaris, es va incorporar a la divisió de gelats d'Unilever a Barcelona, on es va apassionar no tan sols pels gelats, sinó també pels aspectes psicològics que envolten les relacions socials dins l'àmbit laboral. Amb l'esperança d'entendre millor aquestes 'qüestions personals', va tornar a l'àmbit acadèmic i va cursar estudis de doctorat a ESADE, en el camp del comportament organitzatiu. Mentre cursava el doctorat, va finalitzar la segona llicenciatura en Psicologia i es va formar com a coach professional.
Va obtenir una beca Marie Curie de la Comissió Europea per incorporar-se a l'INSEAD Fontainebleau, França com a investigadora postdoctoral. Durant el seu postdoc, va obtenir un Diploma en Psicologia Organitzativa Clínica INSEAD.
Abans d'incorporar-se a ESADE, fou professora de l'ESMT Berlin Alemanya, on fou distingida per la seva excel·lència docent.Imparteix cursos sobre gestió i desenvolupament de persones i sobre comportament organitzatiu a públics molt diversos, que van des d'estudiants d'MBA i EMBA fins a directius.
També és consultor i coach d'empreses sobre qüestions relacionades amb el lideratge, el desenvolupament personal, la diversitat i la dinàmica de grups.
En general, la seva recerca se centra a entendre com es formen les percepcions personals i socials al lloc de treball i quines conseqüències tenen sobre els resultats individuals i de grup. El seu treball inclou tres línies de recerca per tal d'analitzar tres qüestions: el lideratge, la diversitat i la identitat.
El seu treball s'ha presentat en moltes conferències de recerca internacionals i s'ha divulgat en publicacions de management com la Harvard Business Review, The Huffington Post, Forbes i el Financial Times. Així mateix, les seves recerques s'han publicat en revistes acadèmiques com Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, The Leadership Quarterly, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, i Organizational Research Methods.
