Biografia
El Dr. Jan Hohberger és professor titular de Gestió Estratègica del Departament de Direcció General i Estratègia d'ESADE.
Abans d'incorporar-se a ESADE, fou professor sènior de la University of Technology Sydney UTS. També fou acadèmic i professor visitant de la Wharton School i de la Georgetown University, i es va doctorar a ESADE.És professor i consultor en les àrees d'estratègia i innovació, la qual cosa l'ha portat a actuar en sectors molt diversos, com el bancari, el de les telecomunicacions, el farmacèutic, l'industrial i el de la mineria, treballant per a empreses de l'Amèrica del Nord, Europa i Àsia, com DeBaak, KPMG, el Grup SK, Río Tinto, Bayer i Grifols.
Així mateix, ha impartit docència en diversos programes acadèmics, com el Full-Time MBA d'ESADE, la UTS i Georgetown; el Global Executive MBA GEMBA d'ESADE i Georgetown; l'Executive MBA EMBA de Georgetown i la UTS; el Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation de la UTS i el Master in International Management de la CEMS, entre d'altres.
La seva recerca se centra en els temes d'estratègia i innovació, especialment en l'adquisició de coneixements, les aliances i les col·laboracions informals en les indústries d'alta tecnologia.
Els resultats dels seus estudis s'han publicat en destacades revistes especialitzades, com ara Research Policy, Industrial & Corporate Change, el Journal of International Business Studies, el Journal of Product Innovation Management i Strategic Organization, com també en manuals acadèmics.
