Biografia
Cristina és catedràtica de Direcció d'Operacions i Directora d'Identitat i Missió a Esade. Al llarg de la seva carrera, ha impartit docència en les àrees d'operacions i gestió de la cadena de subministrament, i ha ocupat posicions de lideratge i executives tant a Esade com en juntes i consells assessors de diferents escoles de negocis i associacions d'educació superior.
Com a Directora d'Identitat i Missió d'Esade, promou projectes transversals amb l'objectiu que la missió sigui més compartida i viscuda per la comunitat. Participa en el disseny de polítiques de contractació i promoció del professorat, en el desenvolupament de programes i revisions curriculars, i en decisions d'inversió, entre d’altres. Un dels projectes més importants que ha liderat ha estat el disseny i implementació del primer pla de sostenibilitat d'Esade, involucrant diferents stakeholders per assegurar l'alineament amb les seves expectatives.
Com a investigadora, les seves àrees d'interès són les operacions i cadenes de subministrament sostenibles. Sobre aquests temes ha publicat més de 40 articles en revistes internacionals. La seva destacada tasca investigadora la va fer mereixedora d'un lloc a la llista de la Universitat de Stanford del 'top 2% dels millors científics del món el 2023', en reconeixement a les seves significatives contribucions als àmbits científic i acadèmic.
Cristina sempre ha participat en xarxes i juntes internacionals. Al juliol del 2022 va ser elegida presidenta d'EurOMA European Operations Management Association, junta en la qual va participar com a membre de 2011 a 2017. També forma part dels consells assessors de dues escoles de negocis Catolica Porto Business School des del 2022 i Politecnico di Milano School of Management des del 2021 i del patronat d'una ONG Fundació Carles Blanch des de maig del 2023. També ha estat Coeditora Cap de la International Journal of Operations and Production Management, una de les revistes líders en el seu camp 2018-2021.
Com a persona compromesa amb la transformació de l'educació superior, es va unir al grup de treball 'An Inspirational Paradigm for Jesuit Business Education' creat per la IAJU Associació Internacional d'Universitats Jesuïtes el 2019 i des de setembre del 2022 està co-liderant aquest grup de treball juntament amb Joseph Phillips, Degà de Albers School of Business and Economics Seattle University. Aquesta iniciativa proporciona una plataforma de col·laboració que promou un canvi transformador en l'educació empresarial i ja ha finançat més de 30 projectes en 11 disciplines en 9 països de 4 continents.
