Biografia
Annachiara Longoni és doctora en Management, Ciències Econòmiques i Enginyeria Industrial, Master of Science i llicenciada en Enginyeria de Gestió pel Politecnico di Milano.
Durant un temps, fou visiting scholar de la Schulich School of Business de la York University Canadà.
Estudia el rol de la sostenibilitat en la innovació en productes i processos dintre de les operacions i les cadenes de subministrament. La seva recerca estudia nous paradigmes de fabricació i per a la cadena de subministrament relacionats amb la gestió de la sostenibilitat, que apareixen en entorns locals i globals. A la seva tesi doctoral, ha investigat el rol de les pràctiques organitzatives en les estratègies d'operacions sostenibles a fi d'optimitzar la triple línia de resultats triple bottom line. La seva recerca s'ha publicat en journals acadèmics internacionals i s'ha presentat en diversos congressos internacionals.
Col·labora amb diverses universitats, centres de recerca i empreses. Forma part de xarxes de recerca internacionals, com la International Manufacturing Strategies Survey IMSS, en la qual participen més de vint països, i la xarxa internacional sobre desenvolupament sostenible liderada pel Center of Organization Effectiveness de la University of Southern California, en la qual participen diverses universitats i empreses dels Estats Units i d'Europa.
És membre del comitè organitzador del Fòrum EurOMA sobre Operacions i Cadenes de Subministrament Sostenibles. El setembre de 2013, Annachiara Longoni s'ha incorporat a ESADE com a professora ajudant del Departament de Direcció d'Operacions i Innovació.
