Biografía
Graduado en Economía por la Universidad Católica de Chile y doctor del Departamento de Ciencias Sociales y de la Decisión de la Universidad Carnegie Mellon.
Ha sido profesor de la Wharton School Universidad de Pensilvania en los últimos 15 años y también ha tenido responsabilidades en la Universidad de California-San Diego. Desarrolla dos líneas principales de investigación: una, centrada en cómo piensan, emiten juicios y toman decisiones las personas, y la otra, en cómo lo hacen los investigadores metodología. Ha publicado en numerosas revistas de economía, psicología y negocios. Ha creado el sitio web de preinscripción AsPredicted.org y mantiene el blog DataColada.org. Es editor revisor de Science, editor asociado de Management Science y miembro del consejo editorial del Journal of Marketing Research y de Advances in Methods and Practices in Psychological Science.
Imparte asignaturas sobre cómo motivar el cambio de comportamiento basándose en estudios psicológicos y cómo mejorar nuestra comprensión intuitiva y no tan intuitiva de los datos basándose también en investigaciones psicológicas.
