Biografía
Laura Guillén se incorporó a ESADE como Associate Professor en septiembre de 2019.
Es Lic&MBA por ESADE. Tras finalizar sus estudios universitarios, se incorporó
a la división de helados de Unilever en Barcelona, donde se apasionó no solo por los
helados, sino también por los aspectos psicológicos en torno a las relaciones sociales
en el trabajo. Con la esperanza de entender mejor estas 'cuestiones personales', regresó
al ámbito académico y completó los estudios de doctorado en ESADE, en el campo del
comportamiento organizativo. Mientras cursaba el doctorado, finalizó su segunda licenciatura
en Psicología y se formó como coach profesional. Obtuvo una Beca Marie Curie de la
Comisión Europea para incorporarse al INSEAD Fontainebleau, Francia como investigadora
posdoctoral. Durante su postdoc, obtuvo un Diploma en Psicología Organizativa Clínica
INSEAD. Antes de incorporarse a ESADE, fue profesora de la ESMT Berlin Alemania, donde
fue distinguida por su excelencia docente.Imparte cursos sobre gestión y desarrollo
de personas y sobre comportamiento organizativo a públicos muy variados, que van desde
estudiantes de MBA y EMBA hasta directivos. También es consultora y coach de empresas
sobre cuestiones relacionadas con el liderazgo, el desarrollo personal, la diversidad
y la dinámica de grupos. En general, su investigación se centra en entender cómo se
forman las percepciones personales y sociales en el puesto de trabajo y qué consecuencias
tienen sobre los resultados individuales y de grupo. Su trabajo abarca tres líneas
de investigación para analizar estas tres cuestiones: el liderazgo, la diversidad
y la identidad. Su trabajo se ha presentado en numerosas conferencias de investigación
internacionales y ha sido divulgado en publicaciones de management como la Harvard
Business Review, The Huffington Post, Forbes y el Financial Times. Asimismo, sus investigaciones
se han publicado en revistas académicas como Organizational Behavior and Human Decision
Processes, The Leadership Quarterly, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior,
Human Resource Management y Organizational Research Methods.
