Biografía
El Dr. Jan Hohberger es profesor titular de Gestión Estratégica del Departamento de Dirección General y Estrategia de ESADE.
Antes de incorporarse a ESADE, fue profesor sénior de la University of Technology Sydney UTS. También fue académico y profesor visitante de la Wharton School y de la Georgetown University, y se doctoró en ESADE. Es profesor y consultor en las áreas de estrategia e innovación. Así, ha actuado en sectores muy diversos, como el bancario, el de las telecomunicaciones, el farmacéutico, el industrial y el de la minería, trabajando para empresas de Norteamérica, Europa y Asia como DeBaak, KPMG, el Grupo SK, Río Tinto, Bayer y Grifols.
Asimismo, ha impartido docencia en varios programas académicos, como el Full-Time MBA de ESADE, la UTS y Georgetown; el Global Executive MBA GEMBA de ESADE y Georgetown; el Executive MBA EMBA de Georgetown y la UTS; el Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation de la UTS y el Master in International Management de la CEMS, entre otros.
Su investigación se centra en los temas de estrategia e innovación, especialmente en la adquisición de conocimiento, las alianzas y las colaboraciones informales en las industrias de alta tecnología.
Los resultados de sus estudios se han publicado en los principales journals, como Research Policy, Industrial & Corporate Change, el Journal of International Business Studies, el Journal of Product Innovation Management y Strategic Organization, así como en manuales académicos.
