Biography
Law degree from the European Institute of Law and Economics INEDE, current International
University of Catalonia, 1991 and the National University of Distance Education UNED
1991; Doctor in Law Cum Laude from the University of Barcelona 1995. Professor at
the Universitat Ramon Llull 2002, currently teaches Introduction to Private Law, Inheritance
Law, Conflict Management, Mediation and Negotiation, ESADE-URL Law School. Mediation
Expert University UNED. Madrid. University Specialist in Family Mediation UNED. Madrid.
Master in Mediation UNED. Madrid. Mediator registered at the Centre for Mediation
in Private Law of Catalonia. Associate Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Barcelona
since 1991 and Consultant at the Open University of Catalonia UOC since 1998. Lawyer
non-practicing collegiate in the Barcelona Bar Association.Teresa Duplá joined the
ESADE Law School since it opened 1994 and has held various management positions Undergraduate
Program Director, Associate Dean, member of the Steering Board and the Academic Board
URL, member of the Executive Board of ESADE both the Faculty and the University. Visiting
professor at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre since 1999 and invited the Università
Luigi Bocconi Milan and the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra Portugal Professor.
Foreign Visiting Scholar September-October 2012 and July 2013 Fordham Law School in
New York USA.He is also a member of the research Trajan University of Barcelona. Member
of Group consolidated Innovation at the University of Barcelona, ¿¿GID-Dret Privat
and Eseco group. He is a member of the Board of the International and Iberoamericana
Association of Roman Law. Member of the Commission Reform Statute of FC Barcelona
since 2011. Member of neutral point of Barcelona created by the Association of European
judges pro Mediation GEMME.He currently heads the research group on Conflict Management
before Mediation, Arbitration, Law and Family, group recognized by the Generalitat
and focused on the implementation of projects related to conflict analysis, alternative
management systems and the creation of systems / efficient models of conflict management
in companies and institutions. She was director of the Department of Private Law 2013-2015.
