Biography
Professor of the Department of People Management and OrganizationHe has been Dean
of Executive Education at ESADE, as well as Associate Dean of Executive Masters, Deputy
Dean for Programs, and co-led the online education initiative for Executive Education.
He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat Ramon
Llull. He earned his degree in Business Administration from IQS School of Management
URL, He also holds diplomas in People Management and Team Leadership from ESADE Business
School and in Organizational Development from Columbia University.He was a post-doctoral
researcher and visiting professor at the University of San Francisco, and has also
been a visiting research fellow at Case Western Reserve University under the supervision
of Prof. Richard Boyatzis, one of the pioneers of emotional intelligence, as well
as at Harvard University.His areas of interest in teaching, consulting, and research
are leadership, team development, and organizational development. Currently, he participates
as a professor in MBA programs Full-Time MBA, Multinational MBA, Executive MBA as
well as in various Executive Education programs in three areas: Degree Executive Masters,
Open Programs, and Custom Programs.His teaching excellence has been recognized with
the Best Professor Award from ESADE Business School and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
His innovative capabilities have been acknowledged by ESADE Business School with the
Teaching Innovation Award. As a professor, he has worked on projects for companies
such as CaixaBank, Banc Sabadell, Procter & Gamble, Allianz, Melia Hotels International,
Alstom, Abertis, BBVA, Bayer, Vodafone, ING, Alcon, FIA, British Gas, Panasonic, Sareb,
Acciona, Sanitas, and Gas Natural Fenosa, among others.
