Reaching broad political agreements is crucial to overcome the Covid-19 crisis in Spain, economist Toni Roldán said on Spain’s national public radio service.

“In a situation like the one we’re facing now, it is almost a democratic obligation to agree on the things we have to do as a country ten years from now,” said Roldán, who recalled that political polarisation is an economic problem. “If we do not reach an agreement, we will not get out of this crisis,” said the former deputy of the Citizens party.
