Working from home in Spain requires a mindset change

“Statistics related to working from home in Spain are disappointing,” says Raquel Sebastián, an economist at the Complutense University of Madrid specialising in the labour market and author of Teletrabajo en España: de dónde venimos y a dónde vamos [Working from home in Spain: where we come from and where we are heading]. Her report offers some keys to understanding who can and who cannot telework in Spain, why we do it less than in other European countries and what political measures would be necessary to promote work habits that offer, as Sebastián says, a better work-life balance and contribute to the “fight against climate change”.
