In the media, results in the PISA 2022 test: La Cadena Ser, El Mundo, ABC…
5 Dec, 2023
Today the OECD has published the results of the PISA 2022 test. Our deputy director and expert in education, Lucas Gortazar has given his vision of the results obtained by students in the media:
- The results of Spanish students have worsened where a part of that worsening is conditioned by the coronavirus that influenced the adolescence of the students tested as mentioned in the article by Olga R. Sanmartín.
- In Olga Pereda’s piece in El Periódico, which includes the keys to the PISA results, Lucas Gortazar analyzes the situation of Spain compared to our European neighbours.
- In la Cadena Ser, Lucas Gortazar comments: “Spain has held up better. We cannot say that it has held up well because then we would not be talking about a fall. It would have been good if, like the Asian countries or even Italy, we had not seen any setback”.
- The analysis by Daniel Sánchez Caballero in el Diario de la Educación, has the vision of our Director of Education who emphasizes that the pandemic was better managed at school level in Spain and although the result is still negative, it is better than other countries.
- La cadena SER has the analysis of our deputy director in a piece focused on the differences in the results of the PISA test between autonomous communities.
- In the following contribution by Lara Carrasco for InfoLibre, our deputy director, Lucas Gortazar emphasizes the need to take into account other data such as school dropout to interpret the relationship between socioeconomic environment and the level of performance in the PISA test.
- The report by Josefina Stegmann en el ABC cuenta con el análisis de Lucas Gortazar que pone en perspectiva el empeoramiento de los alumnos españoles en la prueba respecto al resto de países europeos y la influencia de la pandemia.
