Interlibrary loan
Who can apply for this service?
· Borja Library and ESADE users: professors, researchers, PhD students and Staff.
· CBUC libraries: you can request copies of journal articles or book chapters through the GT-BIB ($URLG) or through pi@url.edu. To apply for loans of books you can do through the GT-BIB ESADE ($URLE) or through biblioteca@esade.edu.
· Other libraries: you can apply for the loan or document reproduction by GT-BIB ESADE ($URLE) or through biblioteca@esade.edu.
How to submit a request?
Before applying to obtain a document, make sure that it's not available in the libraries of Ramon Llull University.
· Check the catalog to see if we have an in print magazine.
· Check electronic journals listed in the Resources section to check if we have a magazine in digital format.
If the document is not in any of the libraries:
Complete the document request form.
Important: If you have not already signed up for the service, you must ask to register for it by writing to the library to get your access codes.
How long it takes to process the request will depend on the type of document requested and the source library. As a general rule, it will take from five days to two weeks for documents requested from Spanish libraries and from fifteen days to three weeks for documents requested from overseas.
Service fees
The cost of this service depends on the type of document requested and the source library.
The current fees are shown below:
